Itinerary

Distance: Approx. 210 km
Travel Time: 7–8 hours
Altitude: 1,352 m

Begin your sacred journey from Haridwar and drive towards Barkot, passing through the scenic hill route via Mussoorie. En route, you may visit Kempty Falls and enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and valleys.

On arrival at Barkot, check in to your hotel and relax. The evening is free for rest and preparation for the Yamunotri trek the next day.

Trek: Approx. 6 km one way
Altitude: 3,291 m

After an early breakfast, drive to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti, the starting point of the Yamunotri trek. From here, proceed to Yamunotri by walking, pony, or doli at your own expense.

Visit the sacred Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Devotees can also take a holy dip at Jamunabai Kund and offer prayers at Divya Shila before darshan. The famous hot spring Surya Kund is also located near the temple.

After darshan, trek back to Jankichatti and drive to Barkot.

After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, a sacred town located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. On arrival, check in to your hotel.

Later, visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi, one of the prominent Shiva temples in the region. You may also visit nearby temples and spend the evening at leisure.

Distance: Approx. 100 km one way
Travel Time: 3–4 hours each side
Altitude: 3,048 m

Start early for Gangotri with packed breakfast. En route, stop at Gangnani for a holy dip in the natural hot water spring known as Garam Kund. Continue your drive through the beautiful Harsil Valley, known for its deodar trees, mountain views, and serene surroundings.

On arrival at Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred Bhagirathi River, believed to be the source stream of the Ganga. Visit Gangotri Temple, perform pooja, and spend time in the peaceful Himalayan atmosphere.

Return to Uttarkashi in the evening.

Travel Time: 8–9 hours
Altitude: 1,319 m

After breakfast, begin your long scenic drive to Guptkashi via Moolgarh and Lambgaon. En route, enjoy views of the Mandakini River, which flows from the Kedarnath region.

On arrival at Guptkashi, check in to your hotel. If time permits, visit the famous Ardh Narishwar Temple. Guptkashi holds great mythological importance and is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva hid from the Pandavas before moving towards Kedarnath.

Road Distance: Approx. 30 km
Trek: Approx. 19 km

After breakfast, proceed towards Sonprayag. From Sonprayag, take a local jeep to Gaurikund and begin the trek to Kedarnath Dham.

Devotees may choose to trek, hire pony/doli services, or use helicopter services at their own expense, subject to availability and weather conditions.

On reaching Kedarnath, visit the sacred Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Surrounded by snow-clad peaks, the temple offers a deeply spiritual and powerful experience.

Trek: Approx. 19 km down
Road Distance: Approx. 30 km

After morning pooja and darshan at Kedarnath Temple, begin your descent back to Gaurikund. From there, proceed to Sonprayag and continue by vehicle to Guptkashi.

On arrival, check in to the hotel and rest after the trek.

Distance: Approx. 215 km
Travel Time: 7 hours
Altitude: 3,133 m

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath, one of the most sacred Vishnu temples in India. On arrival, check in to your hotel.

Later, take a holy dip in Tapt Kund before proceeding for Badrivishal Darshan and evening aarti. You may also visit Brahma Kapal, known for ancestral rituals and pind daan.

Nearby attractions include Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Bhim Pul, Charanpaduka, and the origin point of the Saraswati River.

Overnight Stay: Badrinath

Distance: Approx. 310 km
Travel Time: 8 hours

After breakfast, drive towards Rishikesh via Joshimath. En route, visit the sacred Narsingh Temple at Joshimath.

Continue your journey through the beautiful mountain roads and river valleys. On arrival at Rishikesh, check in and relax.

Overnight Stay: Rishikesh / Rudraprayag / En route hotel, as per final arrangement

After breakfast, enjoy time in Rishikesh. Depending on time and group preference, guests may experience optional adventure activities such as river rafting or bungee jumping at their own expense and with prior booking.

In the evening, attend the peaceful Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh, a beautiful spiritual ceremony on the banks of the holy river.

Later, proceed for drop at Haridwar / Delhi, marking the end of the Char Dham Yatra.
