Experience the natural beauty of Kashmir through a thoughtfully planned journey covering Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonamarg and Pahalgam. The package combines Mughal gardens, mountain valleys, a Gondola ride, Dal Lake sightseeing and a memorable stay aboard a traditional Srinagar houseboat.
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, meet the representative and proceed to your hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and relax for a while. Later, begin your Srinagar sightseeing tour. Depending on arrival time and operational conditions, visit attractions such as Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashme Shahi, Pari Mahal, Hazratbal Dargah and Shankaracharya Temple. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Cruise past floating gardens, Char Chinar, Kabootar Khana and traditional houseboats. After breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Gulmarg, located approximately 56 kilometres from Srinagar. Travel through the scenic countryside and the beautiful town of Tangmarg before reaching Gulmarg. Upon arrival, enjoy the included Gondola cable-car ride up to Phase 1. Spend time admiring the mountain views and exploring the meadows. Optional activities such as pony riding, snow activities and local sightseeing can be arranged directly at an additional cost. Subject to road and weather conditions, you may also visit Drung Waterfall before returning to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar. After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, popularly known as the “Meadow of Gold.” The journey from Srinagar to Sonamarg offers beautiful views of mountains, rivers and valleys. Sonamarg is situated at an elevation of approximately 2,692 metres and serves as a gateway to several Himalayan trekking routes. Guests may take an optional pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier, subject to weather and accessibility. Pony charges and other optional activities are payable directly. After breakfast, continue exploring Srinagar’s cultural and natural attractions that could not be covered on the arrival day. Depending on the season and availability, the sightseeing may include the Tulip Garden, additional Mughal gardens, local handicraft centres and shopping areas. The remainder of the day is available for leisure, shopping for Kashmiri handicrafts, dry fruits, saffron, carpets and traditional shawls. After breakfast, check out from the Srinagar hotel and drive to Pahalgam. En route, travel through Pampore and visit the saffron fields when in season. You may also see traditional cricket-bat factories, apple orchards, the historic Awantipora Ruins and the town of Bijbehara. Continue through Anantnag and enjoy the scenic drive alongside the Lidder River. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check in to the hotel. After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing around Pahalgam. Visit the beautiful Aru Valley, known for its meadows, mountains and trekking routes. Continue to Betaab Valley, which was named after the Bollywood movie filmed in the area. The valley is surrounded by green meadows, streams and snow-capped mountains. Also visit Chandanwari, famous for its scenic landscape and its importance as the starting point of the traditional Amarnath Yatra route. After sightseeing, drive back to Srinagar and check in to the premium houseboat. Enjoy dinner and a memorable overnight stay aboard the houseboat.
